AudioLock ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Collect

AudioLock is designed with privacy in mind. We collect and store the following information locally on your device only:

• Parent PIN: Your chosen PIN code, stored securely on your device to protect parent mode access.
• App Preferences: Your settings, including theme preferences, approved songs list, and search permissions.
• Listening History: Recently played songs and weekly statistics, stored locally for your personal viewing.
• Playlists: Custom playlists you create within the app.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal identification information (names, email addresses, etc.)
• Location data
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes
• Any data to external servers or third parties

Apple Music

AudioLock uses Apple's MusicKit framework to access Apple Music. When you use AudioLock:

• Music streaming is handled directly by Apple Music using your existing subscription.
• Search queries are sent to Apple Music to find songs.
• We do not have access to your Apple Music account credentials or payment information.

Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage mechanisms. No data is transmitted to external servers. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

Children's Privacy

AudioLock is designed for use by families with children. The app does not collect any personal information from children. All data remains on the device and under parental control.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
